So, I'm back. Sadly. I really really didnt want to leave, Italy is just sooo beautiful and amazing and wonderful..::sigh:: But, unfortunately, we had to return. Yea, but I had a great time. I did alot of things I thought I never would do like walk....I walked alot. Course thats the way you basically have to get around so I had to but still, I was amazed at how much I walked, I even insisted on walking the majority of the time. Alex would ask if I wanted to take the bus and I'd be we can just walk. Florence was beautiful. We did alot in Florence, and I was sad cause he wouldnt buy me this aqua ring. I mean it was only 430 Euro, thats all....hehe....I sooo drank too much wine one night though. Alex ordered a liter of wine....a liter for two people....if I wanted to get drunk it would have been fine but we were just having dinner....yea...did not go down well and I still wasnt 100% since I was sick. O yea, so I had a fever two nights before I left right? Well guess what happened on the plane, the 10 hour one, yea got another fever. I felt hot on our first flight to Washington and thought it was only cause I had a headache, then on the second one, the long one, I checked my temp...o yea, it was a fever, sucked. But other than that it was fine.
O yea, in Venice, gondola rides are expensive! We paid 80 Euro for one. Thats like 100 dollars! But it was quite nice. I had the boat sensation all day even though we left Venice the day of the gondola ride for Rome again. lol, we ate dinner at this place overlooking the Pantheon and I swear the floor was moving, it really felt like I was on a boat. Alex said it was cause I was tired, but I dont know. But yes. O and the Sistine Chapel is amazing. I never wanted to leave. K, so word of advice, when in Rome (yes do as the Romans do) and you go to the Vatican Museum, go late, as late as you can cause lines are much much shorter then. We went to St. Peters Basilica and found that the line for the Museum was like half a mile long...long ass line. We planned to go right after the visit to St. Peters cause the Museum closes kinda early but our tour guide told us that it was gonna stay open till late cause it was closed on both Sunday and Monday. We ended up going on a tour with this tour guide and when he decided it was the right time, we went and literally just walked into the Museum, there was no line at all. So, I recommend going later on in the day or because it normally closes at like 12:20 or something, going at like 11:30, but since we went at 12:50 and just walked in, I'm not sure, but dont go early in the morning because everyone has that same idea. But, yes, beautiful Chapel. It was a bit dark but still so beautiful. We saw all the major sites in Rome and had good food, and good wine. In Venice, it was horribly overpriced, but it is Venice and the church there was so pretty too. Florence housed amazing art. The actual David was amazing. Sculpting that...wow. Michelangelo was a genius and he knew it. Rafael's stuff was incredible too. All of it was great, I had a wonderful time. It was a fantastic place, great food, great drink, and I shared it all with an amazing guy. Lovely time...wish I could go back...::sad::
Theres not as many pics as there would have been had I been in charge of the camera the whole time but there are still a good amount, which will be posted on facebook at a later date. Anyway, I gotta get ready for class. I woke up today early cause we got in around 10 pm last nite, our last flight was delayed so we got in after 8, bags took until close to 9 and it took forever to get back...but o well. Yay! Last day of classes! I finished my last class and now am off to study for finals, joy. Yea, no I'm just so happy that its almost over....hehe.....and tonight is my anniversary dinner with Alex, hehe....it was actually on Tuesday but we've been too busy to celebrate. In anycase, I'm excited. IT TOTALLY SNOWED TODAY!!! I have never seen snow before in my life! I was sooooo happy to see it. It was amazing, I LOVE this weather.....snow rocks! So my exam blew....O well....it happens...I'll move on, lol....in anycase, Judy is errand running like crazy today along with trying to see if she can find time to work....joy? Wow do I suck at Laser Tag...but I had a good time, lol. It was me, Pablo, Ryan, Pat, John, and Al teamed w/ 2 elementary school girls against 4 ppl who had to be 26 and older and 4 junior high kids...yea we sucked. I was trying to do a sniper rifle kinda thing but it didnt turn out so well....hehe, but it was bad ass...hehe... Ryan kept screaming aim for thier eyes..lol, it was hilarious...good times good times...Yea, in other news, I got no work done today at all....I was sitting with Juju all day doing nothing....nothing....then I went to play Laser Tag...thats it....blah, I'll be more productive tomorrow...I have a lecture thing to go to tomorrow, yay, lol, k, now I'm off to watch TV then sleep..mmm..sleep, I have church in the morning, yay? hehe, K, Laterz! Yay studying? Yea, no. I have two exams this week, two exams next week and the following week I forgot. My exams this week aren't too bad, only Sci Comp and Cal 3. But next week they're killer, I have Latino Politics and Genetics. This is the really really hard Genetics exam...I'll be lucky if I get a C bascially. Lots of people are worried about this exam, lol, Pre Meds are hilarious, I'm glad I run in that crowd. hehe...It was wierd this morning tho, last nite I couldnt figure out my Genetics homework to save my life, and I was looking at it for almost a hour, glancing reading notes, reading class notes, reading slides, etc. And this morning..yea it took like 30 minutes and I had the whole thing done...it was really easy. I was worried that I probably had the wrong answers so I checked it with Rachael and I had forgotten to take into account one thing and another thing was wrong because of the same reason...so I had basically gotten the whole thing right except for those two which were separate parts of problems, like that a,b,c, stuff....it was funny...good times good times...made me feel smart, lol. Anyway, I'm supposed to be working... but ehh... Tickets tickets..hehe..so anyway, I'm still feeling a bit sick, but I think its cause I mite be getting sick...these weather changes are making my throat hurt..::pout:: Soup is nice, as is tea. mmm....::sigh:: okay, I should go back to work so I can relax....Laterz! ::sigh:: So, Judy's plan to sleep last nite and feel better today did not happen. I got maybe 5 hours of sleep and that was at 3:00 to 7:00, then again from like 9:30-10:30....blah. I dunno, maybe I'm just not meant to sleep...it happens...I think. In anycase I have too many things going on today to worry about that. I gotta get clothes from my place, get the supplies for the tailgating, go to the tailgating, make sure all is set up for Familia Luncheon tomorrow and go over my presentation that I have to make during the Luncheon, and finally call my husband because he misses me. Genetics is not a subject you wanna study...k, actually once you get into it its quite interesting, but it is still alot of information to take in and I don't like it. Blah. I get to study like all day today...joy? Yea, no not really no....but it's kewl, as long as tomorrow comes quickly and noon tomorrow happens sooner than that, I'll be fine....blah. mmm..my sister's cake is soooo good. It was their anniversary so they had Dee's mom make them a mini cake again, but the cake was huge...like huge, so there's left overs. I had a slice....Alex had a slice....my sis had a slice...Holly had a slice....and I took another huge slice back to Alex's with us where he devoured it, and quickly too.
